Pian on jälleen vuoden kauhistuttavimman Nörttikulttuurivisan vuoro kun illat pimenevät ja Samhain lähestyy.
Tuttuun tapaan luvassa on neljä kierrosta kysymyksiä laajasta kattauksesta erilaisia nörttiaiheita mutta lokakuun visojen perinteiseen tapaan kyseessä voi olla hieman normaalia kauhistuttavampi painotus.
Kolme parasta joukkuetta palkitaan onnistumisistaan mutta luvassa on myös tuttuun tapaan arvontapalkintoja kaikkien muiden epäonnisten sielujen kiusaamiseksi eikun siis osallistujien kesken arvottavaksi!
Lokakuussa jatkuu tietenkin myös syyskausi cup-kisoissa, joissa ollaankin hieman epätyypillisemmässä asemissa. Nörtticupin puolella Replikantit ovat onnistuneet kasvattamaan johtoasemaansa ja ovat kolme pistettä edellä Fakta ja formaatti sekä The Quiz Marillion! joukkueita. Mutta selviytyykö johtoasema lokakuun kiirastulesta?
Varjocupin puolella taas Wrong on the Internet joutuu tosissaan puolustamaan katkeamatonta mestaruusputkeaan sillä joukkue on tällä hetkellä tasapisteissä Robert E. Howard the Duckin kanssa. Mutta kolmantena olevat Ada Ankat ovat vain kolme pistettä jäljessä kärjestä ja ovat siis yhä taistossa mukana.
Kerätkää siis kasaan joukkueenne naiiveja teinejä, joille ei varmastikaan tule käymään mitään pahaa ja tulkaa vierailemaan Nörttikulttuurivisan syrjäisellä visamöK*llä lokakuussa!

It's time for the most horrifying Geek Culture Quiz of the year as the days are getting shorter and Samhain is getting closer.
Like always the quiz will have four rounds of questions from a varied collection of geeky topics but as usual for the October quizzes, there might be a bit more spookier topics than usual.
The top three teams will be reward for their success but as always there will be raffle prizes for the poor unfortunate souls that fail... I mean for the rest of the participating teams!
Both the cup competitions will also continue in October but time league tables are maybe a bit more unusual. Replikantit has currently managed to grow their lead and are three points ahead of the teams of Fakta ja formaatti and The Quiz Marillion! But will their lead survive the October purgatory?
In the Shadow Cup, Wrong on the Internet is actually having to fight to keep their title of unbeated cup champions as currently they are sharing the first place with Robert E. Howard the Duck. No one should still count out Ada Ankat, who are on third place with only three points behind of the top teams.
So get together your team of naive teenagers, who will not definitely face anything horrible, and come join us in the relaxing remote Geek Culture Quiz cabin in October!
